Ms. Sadie C. Campbell
Denmark-Funeral service for Ms. Sadie Campbell, 78, formerly of Varnville, South Carolina, will be held Saturday, May 29, 2010, 11:00 A.M. at Varnville Church of God, Varnville, South Carolina.   Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  Pastor Ruthie Williams and Minister Belinda Chaneyfield will be officiating.

The family will receive friends Friday evening, May 28, 2010 from 6-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.  Washington's Funeral Home of Hampton is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Ms. Sadie C. Campbell was born August 8, 1932 in Crocketville, Hampton County, South Carolina to the late Mr. Perry Cochran and Mrs. Sidney Cochran.  She succumbed to the summon of death Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Laurel Baye Nursing Center, Blackville, South Carolina.

At an early age, she joined Antioch Christian Church, Varnville, South Carolina and subsequently became a member of Varnville Church of God, Varnville, South Carolina.  

She was formerly employed by Gooding Dry Cleaners of Crocketville, South Carolina.

She was married to the late Mr. Nathaniel B. Campbell, Sr.  To this union were two sons: Mr. Roy Roger Campbell and Mr. Nathaniel B. Campbell, Jr. 

In death, preceding her in addition to her husband and sons are (3) sisters: Ms. Pearl Frazier, Ms. Nerva Cochran and Ms. Mary Cochran; (5) brothers: Mr. Perry Cochran, Mr. Jacob Cochran, Mr. Esau Cochran, Mr. Bubba Cochran and Mr. Murphy Cochran.


To mourn her departure and cherish loving memories are: (4) Grandchildren: Melody Ruth, Kyna Kelly (Tommy), Kenya Campbell (Laurie) and Dakota Williams; (8) Great grands; A step son, Clarence Harris of Varnville, South Carolina; A brother-in-law, Elmore Campbell of Varnville, South Carolina;  Other relatives and friends.
