Funeral service for Mr. William Bernard Washington, 47, of 665 Railroad South Avenue will be held Saturday, May 21, 2011, 3:00 P.M. at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, Allendale, South Carolina. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends this evening from 6-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Washington's Funeral Home of Hampton is entrusted with funeral arrangements.

Mr. William Bernard Washington, 47, was born November 25, 1963 in Allendale County, South Carolina. He was born to Ms. Barbara Allen and the late Mr. William Berry. On Sunday, May 15, 2011, Mr. Washington was called from earth’s labor to reward at Allendale County Hospital, Fairfax, South Carolina. At an early age, Mr. Washington joined St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, Allendale, South Carolina.He was a 1982 graduate of Allendale-Fairfax High School, Allendale, South Carolina. Mr. Washington was employed as a bus driver by Palmetto Breeze of Bluffton, South Carolina and by Cleveland Construction of Ridgeland, South Carolina as a dump truck driver.Mr. William Bernard Washington very much enjoyed writing short stories, drawing, listening to music, bus driving and being around family and friends.He was married to the former Ms. Loubertha Ginn.To cherish memories and mourn his departure are his wife, Ms. Loubertha Ginn Washington of the home; (3) Sons: Mr. Cedric Banks (Mrs. Renae), Mr. William B. Washington, Jr. and Mr. Demetrius Washington, all of Brunson, South Carolina; (3) Grand children: Jalon, Jonathan and Jamison Banks, all of Allendale, South Carolina; His mother, Ms. Barbara Allen of Savannah, Georgia; (3) Sisters: Mrs. Willa Jean Berry of Jersey City, New Jersey, Mrs. Tareatha Roberts Henry (Mr. Stephen) of North Augusta, South Carolina and Ms. Latashia Berry of Charlotte, North Carolina; (1) Brother, Mr. Demetrius Washington (Mrs. Gail) of Savannah, Georgia; (7) Aunts; (2) Uncles; (3) Sisters-in-law: Mrs. Roney G.
