Kendrick Lavon Williams
Hampton-Funeral service for Kendrick Lavon Williams were held Thursday, February 17, 2011, 2:00 p.m. at Antioch Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, Varnville, South Carolina.  Committal, final prayer and interment were conducted in the church cemetery.  Pastor Freddie Lawton, Sr. officiated.

Washington's Funeral Home of Hampton was entrusted with funeral arrangements.

Kendrick Lavon Williams, 21, was born July 13, 1989 in Beaufort, South Carolina.  On Saturday, February 12, 2011, Kendrick succumbed to the beckoning call of death.  He was the son of Mr. Lee Arthur Williams and Mrs. Tina Scott.


Kendrick was educated by the public schools of Hampton County, South Carolina; and, he attended Greater Saint Stephens Church of Walterboro, South Carolina.

Fishing was his avid enjoyment.   He was gainfully employed as a forklift driver by Floralife Incorporated, Walterboro, South Carolina.  

Kendrick will be sorely missed by his family and many friends.

To mourn his departure while cherishing fond memories are: [1] Child:  Ken’yanna Williams of Beaufort, South Carolina; His parents: Lee Arthur Williams (Sonya) of Varnville, South Carolina and Tina Scott of Hampton, South Carolina;  [4] Sisters: India N. Hughee of Summerville, South Carolina, Kenyatta Williams of West Columbia, South Carolina, Kenyetta Williams of Blufton, South Carolina and Kentrella Williams of Hampton, South Carolina; [3] Brothers: LeeShawn Williams, Alston Williams and Alex Bush, all of Aiken, South Carolina; His paternal grand mother, Ms, Mary Williams of Varnville, South Carolna; His maternal grand parents: Mr. Timothy and Mrs. Ethel Williams of Hampton, South Carolina; His paternal great grand mother, Ms. Carrie Mae Priester of Varnville, South Carolina; [5] Aunts; [12] Great Aunts; [4] Uncles; [11] Great Uncles; [7] Nieces; [3] Nephews (one nephew preceded him in death, D’Aaron Williams); Other relatives and friends, which includes special friends: Owen Miley, Alcee Johnson, Kyeisha Crews and Chequetta Croakley.
