The Obituary
Mr. Raymond Jackson son of the late Willie and Josie Lee Jackson, was born May 23, 1957, in Varnville, SC.  He entered eternal rest Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at MUSC Ashley Tower Charleston, South Carolina. 

At an early age Raymond gave his life to Christ, becoming a baptized member of Samaritan Missionary Baptist Church, Varnville, South Carolina, where he served as a trustee.  He was a 1975 graduate of Wade Hampton High School in Hampton County, South Carolina.  He served in the United States Military, from which he was honorably discharged.  

He was preceded in death by his parents Willie and Josie Lee Jackson, siblings: Norman, Bernard, Mary, and Bernice. 

The memories he left will forever be cherished by his loving family; His siblings:  Ida Mae Williams, James (Catherine) Jackson, Daisy Black, Martha Garvin, and Joann (Sylvester) Ready; Reared in the home:  Carolyn (Willie) Wesley, Joyce (Raymond) Dunbar, and LaShay Black; One Aunt: Sadie Green.  And numerous devoted nieces and nephews.
