Hampton, South Carolina - Washington's Funeral Home of Hampton announces the passing of William (Bill) Mulder, Sr. of 111 Lightsey Street. Service will be held Sunday, July 8, 2012, 2:00 P.M. at Open Arms Fellowship Church, 402 Hoover Street, Hampton, South Carolina. Interment will take place in Sand Hill Cemetery, 15480 Pocotaligo Road, Varnville, South Carolina.
Visitation will be Saturday evening, July 7, 2012 from 7-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Washington’s Funeral Home of Hampton is entrusted with funeral arrangements.
William (Bill) Mulder, 71, passed away July 1, 2012 at Hampton Regional Medical Center, Varnville, South Carolina. He was born to the late Gerrit & Minnie Mulder.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence.
Bill was a retired truck driver for Safeway Distribution. He was a devoted father and grandfather who was known for his stories and jokes. Bill was passionate about sports. But, most of all, he enjoyed every moment spent with his grandchildren and the wonderful memories they made together.
Bill will be missed and forever cherished by his family.
He is survived by his wife, Kay Mulder; His children: William, Joel (Donna), Chad (Andi), Aaron (Shirley), Kyle (Bilguissa), Georgia (David), Ben and Daven; Grandchildren: Zachery, Jordan, Thomas, Tyler, Alec, Jillian, Stephan, Jarren, Faith, Tucker, Dylan, Grace, Kayla, Elizabeth, Avery and Kaya; His brothers: Gerald and Richard; Other family members and friends.
